At some point in their educational experience, 80% of all
students will make use of special education funds. Some in this group will
receive funding to meet objectives for IEPs and 504 Accommodation. Many
children will receive such funds through the benefits of incidental inclusion
(assistance provided to every student in a classroom when a teacher's aide is
present), speech therapy, short-term reading support, math tutorials, and other
academic assistance made available to students either one-on-one or in group
settings.
